Nicky Romero Has Got Nothing "Toulouse"

Ahh, it's soo nice to be back and writing again.. Quite the exciting and eventful weekend of adventures in Tahoe for Snow Globe... I guess it just took me a while to readjust to normal life haha  Definitely got a bunch of great footage, so that will (hopefully) be up soon enough. Along with an interview from DJ R/D, who just dropped his new album, BayCrush! So, until we put him up here, check his facebook.

Soon enough, we will be featuring some coverage of Holy Ship, which Gabe is at RIGHT NOW (Lucky lucky bastaaad!)

Now, back to the task at hand...

I was kickin it with my buddy, Beast, who will be writing for us soon enough, and he put on the new Tiesto Club Life mix; he's big into downloadin podcasts n such, especially Club Life (facebook).

I love me some good mixes, but honestly, I'm not that big into Tiesto. Don't get me wrong, he's the bizness, the man has been tearin it up for years, but he usually doesn't bring that sound my ears love to, well, 'gasm to

BUT, ever so often, he'll drop a track like Nicky Romero's "Toulouse" or Porter Robinson's "Unison", and at those drops, I realize that tons of gold lies within his epic trance mixes, and that I need to pull it together and start keepin up on Club Life a bit more; and so, I shall.

According to the bio for Nicky Romero on Last.fm, he has been all about music since he was a lil one.

Starting with the drums at age 12, he practiced rigorously for a few years, then switched it over to the tables, and for very good reasons. He, then, built his label, Once Records, put out a few tracks, and was later recognized by fellow Dutchman, Madskillz, which got the ball rollin for the young up n' comer. (Source: Last.fm)

At 23, he has makin quite the name for himself doing some heavy remixes and puttin out some proper originals, like the one above, of course.

Check out his quite nifty website here and be sure to stay up to date with this bad boy on his SoundCloud, which features a hefty assortment of his tracks. Not many on free download, but they're definitely worth the listen.

I'll leave you with his most recent release, his "The Yearmix 2011", which features "Toulouse" at about the 48th minute, but I wouldn't suggest skippin past the rest by any means.

Until next time...
