1. Feed Me - One Click Headshot
Feed Me never disappoints us, at least not me yet. His newest release, One Click Headshot, is such an aggressive electro house monster. When i hear this banger it reminds me of how great this London-based producer really is. He makes so much beauty out of such a chaotic track then hooks you back in his the great melodies.
2. Jasper Forks - River Flows in You (Official Video)
Jasper Forks’ new video is out on Ultra’s Youtube channel. Honestly, looks a little Twilight-ish, but the track’s able to hold its own. The melodic run on the piano and the trancy electro beat really gives it some personality. Take a listen and watch the video.
3. Amber Davis - Light Years (Rogue Dubstep Remix)
For those of you that are diggin this track, it’s time to get a formal introduction to this new producer, Rogue aka Joel Hunt. Just starting to make his mark on the growing dubstep scene, hes blowing up the blogs and youtube channels with this new hit remix, Amber Davis - Light Years (Rogue Remix). Keep an eye out for this UK up and comer.
4. Justice - On'n'On (Brodinski Rmx)
Check out Brodinski’s latest single released this week on Ed Banger Records. Brodinski’s remix of On’n’On is just one of the tracks featured on Justice’s new EP. Hope you enjoy this electro house track. Available on beatport http://www.beatport.com/release/onnon-remixes/852987
5. Nero - Must Be The Feeling (Delta Heavy Remix)
download link: Nero - Must Be The Feeling (Delta Heavy Remix)
And for the last track this week, and my personal favorite, Nero - Must Be The Feeling (Delta Heavy Remix). I don’t know what’s been in the cool-aid lately, but i’ve been hungry for some disco tracks and this one just happens to hit the spot. Might be the awesome combo of disco, laser sounds, and that hard uptempo that gets me. I’m really stoked on this track, well executed and thought out. Big ups to Delta Heavy on this one, its a beast!

Is this Sex on Drugs?
Ever wondered what its like to have sex while you're completely browned out drunk / fucked up? Well in my opinion this new Borgore music video totally nails it on the head. Boom. Newest video UKF release. Borgore videos are always so hilarious. And seriously who chose the thick Nubian princess?
We Got Some Heavy Steppin to Do! --- Yet, Another Dubstep PowerPack
Here we go with another jam packed, bass bumpin combo post.. Should be another goodie.
And we kick it off with...
Yet, another fierce duo that has been just tearin it up in the scene. First track I came up on from these guys was their "Doin' Time (remix)", originally by none other than Sublime of course, which was released 2 years ago at least. This introduction of these badboys was ever so appropriate, since it acted as an excellent preview into what was to come from them - more and more siiick remixes, and beyond that, remixes that you would NOT expect to hear, such as their Rolling Stones - "Gimme Shelter (remix)", or their Moody Blues "White Satin (remix)", as well as their Radiohead - "Pyramid Song (remix)", and TONS of others.
They bring such an eclectic sound - many novel samples, intricate rhythms, and they never hesitate to variate BPMs. They literally just bounce all around the tempo register, hittin the 170s, 120s, and of course, the 140s - it's quite the love / hate to be honest. Love it for the diversity and the finesse that they execute it with - where you rarely realize the tempo until you load it up into Serrato or tap it out; and, Hate it because it makes their songs so damn rough to mix in to a Dubstep set! I've definitely heard it be done, and done well no doubt, but still, it definitely doesn't make it easy.
Their last release, the "Rumble in the Jungle EP", was only two tracks, but neither of them were tempo'ed "traditionally" in the Dubstep world. Rumble in the Jungle bangs in the low 130s range, whereas Undah Yuh Skirt kicks it up to the mid 180s. Both bring that eclectic and unique Zeds Dead sound - I was very impressed with this release that dropped about 5 months ago.
Now, these crazy Canadians have brought us their "Adrenaline EP", which is all in the 140 range, and ALL smashin. Even though they remain within a more specific BPM range, they stay consistent with their sound, their variety, and of course, their heaviness.
Here comes the boom...
Moving right along to filthy Filth Collins. This dubber outta Sydney, Australia has definitely been makin quite the name for himself from the start. I was opened up to the world of Mr. Collins with his tune, "Feed 'Em to the Pigs", but really started gettin a better feel of this DJ through my buddy, Supreme, a up n' coming DJ local to the SF area. The two of them have been doing alotta collabos in the recent, and have seemed to build a lil crew along with dynamic duos, Megalodon and K Theory - bouncing tracks off one another, sharing stems and droppin some serious bangers. You will definitely be seeing all of these DJs featured on the blog in the not so distant future, so keep an eye out.
Here it is... The "Ruffneck EP" by none other than Filth Collins...
I couldn't post this without havin a full version of "Just Don't Care", cuz thus far, it's my fav!
Up next, as you can see, is Liquid Stranger. He was one of those DJs that somehow slipped past me for a while. One of those "Wait... You've never heard of him?!" conversations you have with a friend, immediately, I jumped on the web to seek out this badboy. Came across his tunes, "Bully" and "Ripple VIP", which just bottled my mind! Ya know, when your mind gets put into a bottle : P
Now, we are exposed to some more heaviness from this dirty Swede, and it's damn good! This 5 track EP is filled with his classic bangin basslines and groovin rhythms. He splices in some Drumstep, which is always lovely, and even does a nasty VIP of a track he did with Excision a bit back - the original was def a goodie, but the VIP is a meeeaan one!
Say no more, buckle up, and get ready for the Wetware Warfare EP...
And finally, we have Obsidia. Another one of those DJ/producer who was initially influenced heavily by the Metal scene prior to doin the Dubstep dance - there seems to be a trend here, with the likes of Skrillex, Excision and many others. To take it a step further, now, it is becoming even more common to see the influences of Metal incorporated into Dubstep, and even further, more and more remixes of Metal tunes are poppin up. Validated by a very common claim that Metal is to Rock, what Dubstep is to EDM, a claim that I use myself all the time, cuz hey, it's truth!
Just like Metal, Dubstep producers aim to create the baddest, most intricately unique sounds and rhythms - always trying to top the heaviest out there or exposing a new element or feel. We've seen how this great genre has evolved over the years, some are all about it, others resist - either way, it's changing, and 'this guy' loves it - what can I say, my ears just love the HEAVY, and I'm stoked to see where the 'Step goes next.
Although you can't really hear much direct Metal influence in Obsidia's tunes - aside from the bell on the ride cymbal spliced into "Oblivion" here and there, as well as the samples of tom fills he incorporates - his brutal sound is enough.
Stay up with this naughty Nottingham DJ on his Soundcloud for more and more tunes. With the momentum he's building, I have no illusions that there will be much more to come, so be sure to stay tuned.
That about wraps it up for this one. Hope you've enjoyed all the talk n tunes!

5 Tracks to Get Stuck in Your Head
1. Zedd – Slam the door
If you‘re not already familiar with this guy, it’s about time you get started. Zedd, originally from Germany, got his start winning two huge remix contests on Beatport. Next thing you know, he’s doing collab after collab with some of the top producers releasing tracks for Mau5trap and eventuallysigning on with OWSLA. Keep an eye out for this young producer and his beastly electro house jams.
2. Knife Party – Internet friends
“Internet Friends” is just one of those songs that you get stuck in your head for days. We’ve grown to accept the calming voice of SIRI. Well Knife Party decided to take some funny SIRI samples and IPhone sounds and throw them all in a track. Not to mention, completing the track with a lead riff that just kills it. For all of you that happen to be out of the loop, KnifeParty is actually a side project from Pendulum – Australia Drum/Rock group. They’ve got some great talent, look out for them in the future.
3. Mord Fustang – we are now connected
This is one of my favorite guys to come on the scene. He’s got some super unique synth sounds with those lingering arpeggiated riffs and smooth transitions to his huge chord progressions, definitely to lets you know you’re hearing a Mord Fustang track. His past 5 tracks have been released on MilesDyson’s Plasmapool label. If you don’t know this guy, time to take a listen, you won’t be disappointed with this Estonian producer’s skills.
4. Above And Beyond - You Got To Go (Seven Lions Remix)
Jeff Montalvo (Seven Lions) has popped out of nowhere on the top Beatport charts, releasing his track on Anjunabeats. He’s got a unique sound on this track, bringing out his trance-y notes with a great vocal track and catchy melody. What I really appreciate is he doesn’t over wobble his bass and really keeps this track ambient and smooth; something you just wouldn’t expect from a Santa Barbara native.
5. Zeds Dead – Adrenaline
Adrenaline is the newest Zeds Dead EP to hit the dubstep world. Of all the tracks in this EP, Adrenaline definitely slaps the hardest. Just listen to those hard hitting low frequency wobbles, giving us that classic UK dubstep sound. Reminds me so much of what you’d expect from a Doctor P track, but with those underlying tones we’re used to from Zeds Dead. This Canadian duo has been releasing some great music lately with such a new dubstep profile. Check out the Zeds Dead – Adrenaline EP, released on Inspected Records, you won’t be disappointed.

Whole Lotta Steppin! --- Another Dubstep Power Pack
Are we ready for this, my fellow Steppahs?! There were just too many goodies I came up on this weekend to only post one track, so... I'm gonna post 4. All heavy, all bring that great energy, but all a bit different - and, from all different artists!
Let's get right to it...
High Rankin is a DJ who I came across a bit ago, when he released "Meow Meow". Not only is the track a serious banger, and funny as hell, but the video is outta control. I knew I had to keep my eye on this badboy outta Brighton, UK. Reppin Suicide Dub Records, he just recently dropped "Fly Away" which has my mouth watering and my ears gasming for more.
Be sure to like him on Facebook to get a whole slew of additional free downloads, and it wouldn't hurt to follow him on SoundCloud too, so his freshest tracks will be dropped right into your lap.
This troublesome trio outta Boston, MA has been on the come up for a bit now. Doin work with Rottun Recordings, infamous for their work with Datsik, they hit the Dubstep scene over a year ago, and have released some solid originals, as well as tons of great remixes, like the track featured below.
Apparently, these steppahs have been around for a while, ages actually (in music scene years) - dippin in and out of various genres, and puttin out loads of tracks under different aliases. Aside from the bombs they're droppin under Terravita, they've also been releasin tracks as Hot Pink Dalorean, so check them out as well! (Soundcloud link)
But let's get back to the heaviness, they recently did a remix of "Upside Down", originally by Bassnectar - just when I thought that a track couldn't get much better, I was put in my place, and I'm totally fine with that!
Check tha Facebook and Soundcloud to stay on top of these fellas. Here you go... Terravita!
Let's keep this ball rollin wit Filip Rasch who definitely brings the most groovin tune outta the group, and still drops some heavy bass oscillations. Apparently, Dubstep.net will be releasing their first EP featuring this slammin track. I definitely can't wait to cop that, especially knowin that this badboy will be on there.
This dirty Norwegian just released his "Enter My Realm EP" on Tycho Records, so be sure to check it! Yet again, show your support for this up-n-comer as well (if you likey of course). His Soundcloud has tons of goodies, and I believe I was his 101st like on Facebook, so hit that up too - have a feeling that it won't be that low for long. I'll go ahead and close out his feature wit a quote from his Soundcloud...
"When the going gets weird, the weird turn Pro" --- Awesome haha
And finally, Krysism & E-VO. This duo must really be on the come up, cuz I could not find an image of them anywhere, so I thought a pic of the track they remixed would be appropriate enough. Surprised they didn't throw a shot of Lil' Wayne in there, considerin how much of a celeb he's become (not even a name drop?! - eh, I digress).
These badboys outta Dallas, TX were just signed on to Smashed Beatz Records and are set to drop their "Who We Are EP" next month, so keep your ear to the ground on that, cuz if it's anything like the track below, it'll be well worth a listen.
Standard rap... Soundcloud, Facebook, all that good stuff. See you next time. Pleasant bass-filled, wobblin dreams.
Check this post out on SOL Republic's Culture Blog, cuz it looks goooood over there!
